Many stray cats appear on the streets along tram lines from time to time, and some especially like to jump onto the tram depot and join the tram family, bringing endless joy to the depot colleagues. Therefore, when HK Tramways introduced a tram ambassador this year, they deliberately used the elegant and lively, mysterious and mischievous community cats in the tram depot as a model in creating the ‘Ding Ding Cat’. The actual ‘Ding Ding Cat’ has been brought to the SPCA for vaccination and desexed.

At present, there are still many stray cats and dogs on their way to finding a home. The boutique design implies that more strays can board the tram to happiness and find warm and comfortable homes!
